With less than a week until our 2024 convention, I hope you’ve already made travel arrangements and registered to join us in Philadelphia! If not, you still have six days (but who’s counting). I’m happy to announce the full event schedule is officially live and available to view here.
I’m really excited about this year’s speakers and, as always, our “Two Hands Working” service project. We still need to raise about $5,000 if we’re going to reach our goal of packing meals for 24,000 Philadelphians in need. You can help us do more by donating $20, $40, or $100 today!
Keep in mind any amount you contribute is not only tax-deductible but will also be doubled thanks to a match fund. In other words, if you give $20, we’ll get $40, and 100% of that will go towards purchasing meals for folks who need our help.
In other exciting news: I am extremely proud of our Policy Team. Their tireless advocacy work was a driving force behind the advancement of the Minnesota Recovery Options Act earlier this week in the first set of house and senate committees. And I know they’re not going to stop until it’s law – because nobody should be forced to participate in religious programming.

PPS: In case you missed it, a new survey from Pew Research found “80% of U.S. adults say religion’s role in American life is shrinking – a percentage that’s as high as it’s ever been.” But, troublingly, the country is divided on whether the Bible should influence lawmaking. Read more here.
