On Saturday, we put out the call for our membership to support our upcoming service project in Phoenix, and the response has been phenomenal!
Within just a few days, we raised almost a third of our goal: $4,096 out of $15,000.
On a personal note, last year’s convention was my first with American Atheists, and the service project stands out in my mind as one of the most impactful and gratifying aspects of the event. I can’t wait for us to do it again next week.
Please join those who have already stepped up to help us pack 25,000 meals for families in need. One meal costs less than 50 cents to create, so your gift of $10, $20, $50 or even $100 would go a very long way toward making this happen.
You may recall that Madalyn Murray O’Hair, our founder, stated that “two hands working can do more than a thousand clasped in prayer.” Let’s prove her right.
