I’m thrilled to announce our convention’s keynote conversation will feature Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison!
Before his time as Attorney General, Ellison served for 12 years in the U.S. House of Representatives where he was vice-chair of the House Progressive Caucus. Attorney General Ellison was the first Muslim elected to Congress and the first elected to state-wide office in the United States. Throughout his career, Attorney General Ellison has been a champion for consumer, worker, environmental, and civil and human rights protections for all.
I hope you’ll join me in welcoming Attorney General Ellison and learning more about how he’s helping lead the fight against the extreme white Christian nationalist movement’s Project 2025 agenda.
This year, we welcome you to bring the whole family! We’re partnering with our friends at Camp Quest to offer #CampCon for kids ages 5–15. Under the supervision of Camp Quest’s staff and volunteers, your campers will enjoy “Fun, Friends, and Freethought” with a variety of arts and crafts, science, and hands-on activities designed for their age throughout the conference.
And as we do at every convention, we’ll come together on Sunday, April 20, for our “Two Hands Working” service project to pack thousands of meals for Minneapolis residents in need.
Since 1963, American Atheists has been working to build a cross-country community. This year, those connections are more important than ever.
