Dear Friend,

I’m writing to you today from Minneapolis, where for the last three days, American Atheists has brought together hundreds of atheists, agnostics, humanists, and other nonreligious folks from all across the United States and the world. Next week, Nick will tell you more about what this time together has meant for our team and for our attendees.

Right now, on the closing day of our convention, I have a very simple ask for those of you who weren’t able to join us this year: Please support those who are here giving their time, and give generously to our 2025 “Two Hands Working” Annual Service Project.

In just a couple hours, we’ll be gathering to pack tens of thousands of meals for Minnesotans in need. Although I wish you were here with us, please know you can make a real difference today from wherever you are.

At a time when food banks are seeing their funding and resources slashed, it’s more important than ever for us nonbelievers to show up and demonstrate that two hands working can do more than a thousand clasped in prayer.

So please dig deep and show your support for your fellow members who are packing thousands of meals today. Whether you can give $20, $50, $100 or even more—your gift makes this service project possible.

Thank you for always being there for us to show the world that atheists offer more than just thoughts and prayers.

All the best,

Martina Fern
Senior Director of Development
